This photograph, taken shortly after the opening of the Oriental Institute building in the early 1930's, shows the original lighting. This is one of the features of this room which we intend to restore with the help of the Challenge Grant from the Elizabeth Morse and Elizabeth Morse Genius Charitable Trusts.
