These photographs mainly illustrate Diyala objects located at the Oriental Institute. Most of them are recent records shots, taken during the reinstallation of the Mesopotamian Gallery, and not intended for final publication. They represents some, but by no means all, object categories found in the Diyala material. All photographs in color were taken by Clemens Reichel, those in black-and-white are scans of field photographs taken during the excavation.
