We are looking for someone with a graduate or postgraduate degree in Egyptology and/or Near Eastern archaeology and a broad knowledge of Egyptian archaeology. The successful applicant will be responsible for answering enquiries about the collection and for helping researchers and he/she will also contribute to display, interpretation, teaching and outreach and marketing projects. Experience of museum work is essential, particularly in the area of documentation as one of the main tasks of the post will be to contribute to the development of a computerized catalogue. Experience of university teaching and a commitment to personal research is also desirable. Salary will be within the range £17,869- £25,785 inclusive of London Allowance.
