Tom Van Eynde: Thebes Photographic Project
The Step-Pyramid of el-Kula, north face. The pyramid is located in Upper
Egypt on the west bank of the Nile, 5 kilometers north of Hierakonpolis. Its
date is late Third or early Fourth Dynasty, builder unknown. The pyramid is
constructed of small limestone blocks. It is a solid masonry structure with
no interior rooms or apparent substructure. The north facade was partially
demolished in the past in an attempt to locate interior chambers.

All the photographs were made with a Fujica G617 Panorama Camera. The film is TriX. The prints are made on llford Mulitgrade Fiber base paper. The original prints are 7"x22" on 10"x24" paper.
