The Oriental Institute of the University of Chicago announces the online publication of News & Notes #245.
The lead article by Kiersten Neumann, "Tracking the Lion & Bull of Persepolis," focuses on the OI's incredible lion-and-bull relief, discovered during the OI's excavations of Persepolis in 1931–39. After many years of being on display in Boston, it is now on permanent display in the Persian Gallery.
