Alain Bresson Wins James Henry Breasted Prize for 2017

Alain Bresson, Robert O. Anderson Distinguished Service Professor, Department of Classics and Department of History, a world leader in ancient economy, has won the American Historical Association’s James Henry Breasted Prize for 2017, for his 2016 book The Making of the Ancient Greek Economy: Institutions, Markets, and Growth in the City-States.
