Luxor Temple
The eastern range of colums in the Colonnade Hall of Luxor Temple, seen from the court of Amenhotep III. Two epigraphers and an artist of the Epigraphic Survey work on scaffolding in the north-east corner of the Colonnade Hall. Rising beyond the north wall of the Colonnade are the tops of the towers of the pylon of Ramesses II, and the younger of the two minarets of the mosque of Abu el-Hagag, built atop the remains of a Byzantine church in the court of Ramesses II.
