We are pleased to introduce Dr. Nadine Moeller, Assistant Professor of Egyptian Archaeology, as the newest member of the Oriental Institute faculty. Dr. Moeller earned her PhD at the University of Cambridge and comes to Chicago from Oxford, where she held the Lady Wallace Budge Junior Research Fellowship in Egyptology. She is director of excavations at Tell Edfu, Egypt, one of the most important sites in the development of Eguptian and Near Eastern urbanization. In her lecture, Dr. Moeller will discuss not only the history of this site, but also recent developments in its exacation and research.
