The Joseph and Mary Grimshaw Egyptian Gallery will be closed 8/27-9/17 and the Edgar and Deborah Jannotta Mesopotamian Gallery will be closed 9/18-9/28 for case installations; we are unable to offer any guided tours or programs during that time. Self-guided group visits are available from 8/27-9/28, but please note that approximately one third of the galleries will be closed during that time. Guided tours and programs resume September 29, 2018.
All groups of 10 or more people must register.
Submit your request for a tour to begin the process of booking your visit. You will receive an email confirmation within 5 business days when your visit has been booked. Requests for Guided Tours and Guided Tour & Film Program must be received 30 days in advance. A 30-day advance notice is recommended but not required for a self-guided visit. Requested dates and times are subject to availability. A credit card is required to reserve a date, and will be charged a $50 registration fee, to be applied to your balance. Your remaining balance will not be charged until after the day of your visit, if a charge is required. Arrangements for alternative methods of payment can be made once your visit has been confirmed via the instructions provided in your confirmation email.
The maximum number of people permitted in a group in our galleries is 60 at a time, and no more than 12 people at a time are permitted in the special exhibitions gallery. If your group is more than 60 people, please consider requesting a Guided Tour & Film. Self-Guided Tours for groups of more than 60 people are not possible.
